But that is only part of the story.

The value of the Stay Involved Intranet system is only truly understood when the group witnesses how easy it is to administer and update your site. The web is filled with out-of-date, well intended efforts by organizations of all sizes and budgets. A current, information-driven site is costly to build and/or maintain, either in dollars or volunteer time.

Business Directory - an On-Line Yellow Pages for member owned businesses. Raise funds while posting all the contact information, links, and a brief description.

Calendar of Events - a monthly listing of as many events as you want to post, sorted by committee or area of interest. You'll never be out of the loop again.

Member Directory - a searchable, private listing of all members. Members can enter information about their family, occupation, hobbies, education, and even some special club related data. Even submit a picture and we'll post it for you.

For Sale - a page of items that members are either selling or looking to buy. It's a virtual garage sale.

Functions - An internal marketing tool that enable members to sponsor functions with the click of the mouse. Detailed information for all the private activities options at the Club can be listed.

Group Email - a self-updating Group or Broadcast Email system for group administrators or all members. As your membership updates their email address in the Directory, your list is automatically kept up. You can even create personal groups in the system. The message appears as if it is coming right from your email account and can be replied to.

Home Page - a dynamic home page, include your address, contact information, a picture, and a description of your group. This page can serve as an invitation for new members or just a welcoming your members as they use Stay Involved Intranet. Update it as often as you'd like.

Job Bank - a page where members can post jobs that they are aware of or offering. You can also let people know you are looking for work, great for college grads and babysitters alike.

Links - your club can share its favorite web sites with the group. Describe the site and link to it in a flash.

Meetings - a schedule of meetings for all your committees/areas, or just the general group. You can post date, time, agenda, and notes. The more the members know, the better they can help.

Menus - A listing of all the great offerings from the Kitchen. Create as many different menus and listings as you’d like, specials and a message to the Chef link can also be used.

Message Board - A place where all members can post messages to the group. Need vacation tips, want to congratulate a fellow member? You can adjust the site on the fly, it's very empowering.

News - an electronic newsletter, keeping everyone up-to-date. Your group can share the big news instantly with members around the world or right next door.

Pro Shop - A cataloging module much like the Menu tab above. The Pro can list his/her special items, their whole inventory, even receive messages from the Membership.

Reciprocity - A listing of any and all Clubs where your members have reciprocal privileges. Post more than the name, give complete contact info, links, email, and notes about the club or the arrangement .

Reservations - An interactive area that allows the Club to receive, via regular email, reservations for a variety of daily events. The Club creates the events, from tee times to dinner, members just fill our a form.

Resources - a great way to keep track of your group's scarce resources. Find out who has the overhead projector or the gym reserved for the weekend.

RSVP - A perfect compliment to the Reservations tab, this module is designed for Special Events. Post details regarding the event, track available spots, view the list of attendees and more.

Security - At least some of every Stay Involved Intranet site is password protected. Every member has his/her own user name and password. Special administrative priveldges are granted depending on the identity of the user.

Sponsors - A linked list of all the Sponsors for a group's site, including a special offer or note, if they have entered one. Extra value and exposure to the banner ad sponsors, plus you don't have to watch all the ads to find the one you are looking for.

Survey - A powerful, opinion collecting tool. Create up to 100 questions, in either drop-down box or straight text form, gather the responses in summarized or raw data form, and lead with input.

Web Home - if your group plugs Stay Involved Intranet into its promotional site, this is the way back. Users just click the Web Home link and return to the group's site.
