J. Scott MacGregor  |  Chairman and President

J. Scott MacGregor is Chairman and President of LPIT Solutions, Inc. He joined LPIT in 2006, heading up strategic advisory and corporate financial activities. Prior to joining LPIT, Mr. MacGregor gained 25 years of experience in corporate banking and accounting as well as construction materials management, serving as president of a construction materials company.

Mr. MacGregor holds a BBA from Western Michigan University with concentrations in accounting and finance. In addition to his financial business background, he also has experience in real estate portfolio management and commercial real estate investment. Scott is actively involved in numerous philanthropic efforts as well as community involvement activities, including his role as Vice Chairman of Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, Inc.

Alan J. Brander  |  Vice President of Sales and Clinical Services

Alan J. Brander is Vice President of Sales and Clinical Services at LPIT. Alan joined the company in 2007, and is currently the head of sales activity and clinical services. Prior to joining LPIT, Mr. Brander acquired over 25 years of extensive healthcare experience including over-site of a 26 suite OR department and CNO of Spectrum Health United Memorial Health System. He remains clinically active as resource nurse in a level 1 emergency department.

Mr. Brander holds a BSW from Calvin College, BSN from U. of Illinois, an MBA/HCM from U. of Phoenix and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Institute at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Alan also provides hospital consulting and is trained in the Toyota Production System, which provides a systematic approach to process improvement. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (CHE) and a national speaker on the topics of Tissue Regulation and Compliance for Hospitals.

James A. Casavant  |  Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Operational management and technology leadership at LPIT Solutions is managed by James A Casavant, who is the COO and CTO. He started programming software at the age of 12 and has held positions at a variety of software companies spanning more than 15 years, acquiring experience in developing software for various industries including retail, automotive, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit and group management, ecommerce and marketing. Mr. Casavant joined LPIT in 2003, and has been an integral part in the innovation of many of the products developed by LPIT Solutions.

Mr. Casavant holds a BA from Claremont McKenna College and a Masters degree from Wayne State University. James has experience in a variety of technologies including mobile operating systems, Mac and Windows platforms, web application development, HTML, Java and .NET. He was one of the very first individuals to achieve the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer certification on Microsoft’s original .NET platform and is a Lawson Certified Cloverleaf Developer (level 2). James is also an advocate of sustainable software practices and has presented on the topic at multiple user group events including Lawson’s annual user exchange.
